Difficile immaginare in uno Stato grande appena come una singola regione italiana ( la Lombardia, ad esempio ) una concentrazione e stratificazione storica, religiosa, socioculturale, etnica, artistica così intensa come in Israele. Solo questa semplice considerazione rende indispensabile un’esperienza di viaggio in questa Terra, vero crocevia di bellezze, unicità e varietà, tutte da toccare con mano. Un viaggio che colpirà il cuore, aprirà la mente e appagherà gli occhi, arricchendoci di una consapevolezza nuova.
2° giorno – TEL AVIV / ACRI / CESAREA/ HAIFA / TIBERIADE
Prima colazione in albergo, incontro con la guida e partenza alla volta di Jaffa, passeggiata tra i vicoli dell’antico porto. Proseguimento lungo il litorale per raggiungere Cesarea Marittima, l’antica città portuale dal grande passato di potente capitale, visita al teatro romano e all’acquedotto. Proseguimento verso Haifa, breve sosta presso la sommità del Monte Carmelo per ammirare la baia e la panoramica della città e la vista dei famosi giardini Bahai. Sosta per il pranzo libero ad Acco, a seguire visita dell'antica città crociata, le varie stanze e i passaggi sotterranei. Si attraversa il mercato arabo e si visita la moschea di Al Jazzar, il caravanserraglio, le mura. Proseguimento verso la Galilea, arrivo e sistemazione in albergo. Cena e pernottamento
3° giorno - TIBERIADE / TABGHA / CAFARNAO / ZIPPORI / BEIT SHEAN / QASR EL YAHUD / EIN GEDI
Prima colazione in albergo. Partenza verso il lago di Tiberiade con sosta presso il sito archeologico di Cafarnao dove è stata trovata l'antica Sinagoga dove Gesù iniziò la sua missione e Tabgha. Proseguimento per il sito di Zippori e arrivo a Beith Shean per la visita ad uno dei siti archeologici più importanti del Medio Oriente. Prima di arrivare al Mar Morto passaggio
(tempo permettendo) a Qasr El Yehud. Cena e pernottamento.
4° giorno – EIN GEDI / MASADA / MAR MORTO / MITZPE RAMON
Prima colazione in albergo, tempo libero per una nuotata nelle acque salate del Mar Morto dove si potrà apprezzare l’assenza di peso e la galleggiabilità. Si parte in direzione della fortezza di Masada, costruita da Erode il Grande 2000 anni fa, rappresenta il luogo simbolo della resistenza ebraica alla usurpatore romano. Visita alle rovine che costituiscono un documento storico impressionante e offrono un panorama del deserto sottostante estremamente suggestivo. Dopo il pranzo libero, partenza alla volta di Ein Gedi. Nel pomeriggio arrivo a Mitzpe Ramon. Cena e pernottamento
5° giorno – MITZPE RAMON / DESERTO NEGEV / GERUSALEMME
Prima colazione in albergo. Visita del Mitzpe Ramon, uno dei crateri più grandi del mondo: 10 Km di diametro per 40 Km di lunghezza. Dopo il pranzo libero, partenza alla volta di Gerusalemme, lungo la strada (tempo permettendo) sosta e breve passeggiata nel deserto della Giudea. Arrivo nella Città Santa in serata. Sistemazione in albergo, cena e pernottamento.
6° giorno – GERUSALEMME (Città Nuova – Betlemme)
Prima colazione in albergo. Si inizia la giornata con una sosta presso il Machanè Yehuda, un bellissimo mercato dove si fondono in un'unica realtà tutti i profumi ed i gusti mediorientali, punto di incontro per migliaia di persone che fanno la spesa per la giornata dello Shabbath. Si continua con la visita alla Gerusalemme moderna, il Parlamento israeliano per osservare la Menorah, il famoso candelabro a 7 bracci. Visita al Museo d’Israele dove presso lo Shrine of the book, sono conservati e visibili al pubblico i famosi rotoli del Mar Morto ritrovati a Qumran. Proseguimento della giornata con visita a Yad Vashem il Memoriale dell’Olocausto, eretto in memoria delle vittime della barbarie naziste durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Pranzo libero. Proseguimento in autopullman verso Betlemme, visita della Basilica della Natività costruita sulla grotta dove nacque Gesù. Rientro a Gerusalemme, cena e pernottamento.
7° giorno – GERUSALEMME (Città Vecchia)
Prima colazione in albergo, si inizia la visita alla città con la salita al Monte degli Ulivi per poter osservare il panorama che si estende a perdita d’occhio e che dà una visione generale della morfologia e dell’architettura di Gerusalemme. Una visione mistica e magica nello stesso tempo. In breve tempo si raggiungono il Giardino dei Getsemani e la Chiesa delle Nazioni. Proseguimento verso le mura della Città Vecchia, il vero cuore di Gerusalemme. Sosta presso il Muro del Pianto e il chiassoso bazar arabo. Dopo il pranzo libero, si percorre la Via Dolorosa con sosta presso le Stazioni fino al Santo Sepolcro, visita all’insieme di cappelle e chiese che sono racchiuse nel luogo più santo per la Cristianità. In serata spettacolo Suoni e Luci alla Torre di David. Cena e pernottamento.
